Distinguished Army Career

In his early career as an Army Officer, he was appointed as the youngest ever Unit Commander.

Proven Industry Experience

On moving to Industry, he excelled at change management and his proven Leadership Ability earned early promotion to Managing Director within a year of joining his first company. Dan spent 15 years with the C&C Group where he played a significant role in the strategic development of the Wholesale Division and where his last appointment was as Operations Director. One of his many challenges was to deliver targeted synergies from their many acquisitions, as well as playing a key role in negotiating many of the rationalisation and restructuring issues, where success was always dependent on achieving specific & measurable outcomes. Dan is a strong visionary, highly analytical, and he has a proven record of developing strong teams - and delivering results.

Ongoing Professional Development

He holds a Batchelor of Commerce Degree from NUI Galway & has enhanced his business skills over the years with many relevant courses at the Irish Management Institute & at Cranfield University & Business School, involving Business Strategy, Logistics Management and Human Resource Management. He is also a Neuro Linguistic Practitioner. On leaving Industry he qualified as a Master Business & Behaviour coach, before setting up his own company.

Keen Sportsman

Dan is married with four grown-up children. He won four All Irelands with his native Cork and until recently was actively involved in a coaching capacity. He is also an aspiring golfer, in need of coaching!
