To build a strong and vibrant team who pull together, where improved personal & interpersonal skills lead to greater harmony & team spirit, allowing RESULTS to become the major focus.

To establish strengths based personal & proffessional development plans for each team member which will form the basis for a new & effective performance based review process.

Outline:

In Jim Collin's book "Good to Great" in which he exlores the whole new concept of of how & why some companies become great and others fail, one of his key findings was that everything depends on first finding the RIGHT people. The philosophy underpinning this programme is about getting the right people in the right positions, and finding alternatives for any wrong people. This, in our view one of the key elements in developing a great company.


While we all have a lot in common, we are all unique. Unfortunately very few of us ever identify and focus on where we effortlessly create real value.


Your Value Creator is based on identifying this Focused Strength & matching it with a real need; in this instance, a company need. The process identifies where you add greatest value for the team and that you are the best person for the job.


When this is done for a team, identifying each individuals Focused Strength and clarifying their individual roles using the 7- Step Role model you develop a common language that allows team members to:


  • Understand and accept each other more readily
  • Recognise and support each other in the development of a unique team to achieve the targeted goals
  • Gain clarity and agreement on all team members' roles, responsibilities & accountabilities.
  • Agree the basis of all future performance review discussions.

The very fact of doing such an exercise helps build the sense of team, morale, clarity and focus. People gain valuable insights into themselves, such as their Focused Strength, that allows them to perform better in their roles, in their lives in general and to get working on shaping their own futures.

Included in this programme is the Personal Value Creator (Focused Strength and 7-Step Role Model) for each person; Team Profile; identify characteristics of high performance teams and those of dysfunctional teams.

 

Duration & Times:
